01Who we are

Tradesteady ("Tradesteady", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered trading journal available at tradesteady.ai and app.tradesteady.ai (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

02Information you provide

Account information: your name, email address, and password when you create an account.

Trade data: the trades, notes, tags, and other entries you choose to log, which we use to calculate your metrics.

Communications: messages you send us for support or feedback.

03Payment information

Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We store limited billing metadata such as your plan, subscription status, and the last four digits of your card.

04Information collected automatically

When you use the Service we automatically collect usage and log data, such as pages viewed, actions taken, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and analytics.

05How we use your information

We use your information to operate and provide the Service, calculate your trading metrics, process payments and manage subscriptions, communicate with you, improve and secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

06How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run the Service, including Stripe (payments), our hosting and infrastructure providers, and analytics providers, each only as needed to perform their services.

We may disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal data.

07Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you close your account we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can export your trade history at any time, and you can request deletion by emailing hello@tradesteady.ai.

09Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and other safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10International transfers

We may process and store your information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected.

11Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
