01Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tradesteady (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02The service

Tradesteady is an AI-powered trading journal that lets you log trades, track performance metrics, and access educational content. We may add, change, or remove features over time, including upcoming premium features.

03Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

04Subscriptions, trial, and billing

The Basic plan costs $10 per month and starts with a 7-day free trial. No payment is charged until the trial ends. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods.

We may change our prices with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a price change means you accept the new price.

05Free trial

The free trial is limited to one per customer. At the end of the trial your subscription converts to a paid plan unless you cancel beforehand.

06Your content and data

You retain ownership of the trades, notes, and other content you log. You grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You can export or delete your data at any time.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by using it for any unlawful purpose, attempting to disrupt or reverse engineer it, accessing it through unauthorized means, or infringing the rights of others.

08Not financial advice

Tradesteady is a journaling and analytics tool. It is not a broker, financial advisor, or signal service. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

09Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Stripe, and may reference your broker or exchange. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

10Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any metrics or analyses will be accurate.

11Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tradesteady will not be liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

14Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
